Nord Finance: Monthly Recap January 2022

January was a great month for us to launch new products and make partnerships to start off the year on a good foot. We celebrated our first anniversary with the community and reflected on our journey so far.

We are releasing this report to help investors gauge our progress in January.

Product and Technology Update

Nord NFT Loans Launched:

We’re excited to launch a new product for artists and art collectors to utilise the true potential of their NFT holdings with Nord NFT Loans. Nord NFT Loans is a P2P Lending and Borrowing product to help artists and art collectors receive money against their pledged NFT. In addition, Nord NFT Loans is a place for investors to earn attractive interest by lending the NFT collateralized money to another individual.

$NORD Token Burn

Nord Finance completed its 5th successful Token Burn. A total of 500,000 $NORD tokens have been burnt so far, making $NORD more scarce and valuable.

Nord Staking V3 Launch:

We announced the Nord Staking V3 launch. We’ll start onboarding various projects on the Nord Staking platform to help them offer staking of their tokens with the help of the Nord Staking platform. We’ve launched the first token $KRIDA of the KridaFans on Nord Staking available on the Polygon network.

20% of total $KRIDA rewards generated from the $KRIDA staking program will be distributed to $NORD stakers who have staked for a minimum of 2 months according to their holdings. $KRIDA is onboarded on Polygon. Rewards generated from the $KRIDA staking program will be distributed to $NORD stakers on the polygon blockchain only.

We will soon onboard new projects on Nord Staking V3 on other blockchains. Rewards generated from different projects will be distributed to Nord Stakers on the respective blockchain.

Nord Finance Roadmap Q1, 2022:

We launched the Q1 Roadmap with the community to give an idea of the exciting journey ahead of us in Q1.

Partnerships and Ecosystems

NORD/ DFYN Dual Farming Pool Extension

NORD-DFYN LP Staking was extended to users to provide liquidity and stake LP Tokens and earn dual token 350 DFYN + 50 NORD per day rewards. The pool has started from 9th January for a 1-month duration.

NordVerse: Virtual Nord Finance HQ launched on Bloktopia:

Nord Finance launched a virtual Nord Finance HQ on Bloktopia to lead creative ways to engage with the community on Bloktopia. The new HQ will create many opportunities to engage in the metaverse.

Nord Finance partners with Krida Fans

Nord Finance announced the partnership with KridaFans. Nord Finance will onboard $KRIDA to Nord Staking and Project Treasury Building service via Nord Savings.

Security audit from QuillHash:

Nord Finance released Nord NFT Loans’ security audit report from QuillHash.

Community Interactions:

AMA with Krida Fans:

We celebrated our new partnership with Krida Fans by hosting Paurav Joshi CEO and Co-founder of KridaFans at our TG channel for an AMA. We enjoyed chatting with Paurav Joshi from Krida Fans. We discussed many topics and answered community questions.

Mando-CT onboarded to engage with the new community:

We’re excited to build Nord Finance Community with Mando-CT(@XMaximist).

A Message for Nord Vikings Community:

We are entering in February with enthusiasm to give our community many reasons to celebrate Nord Finance. We will release amazing products and announcements this month. Get ready to celebrate with us.
