Nord Finance: Monthly Recap August 2021
By the end of every month, we are always overwhelmed by the response we receive from our community. And this month was no different, with our new product Nord Advisory being launched, we are truly grateful for the type of support and response we received from our Nord Vikings community.
Everything that took place over the past month has taken us a step closer to realizing our goal of making Decentralized Finance (DeFi) more accessible to everyone.

Product and Technology Updates
Nord Advisory is here!
After months of development and rigorous testing, on 9th August 2021, we launched our latest product, the Nord Advisory. We are really excited about Nord Advisory as it takes the applications of Decentralized Finance to another level.
Nord Advisory is a personal investment hedge fund manager on DeFi. This means, the platform takes users’ funds in stable coins and invests them into different crypto assets to give risk-adjusted returns. It is similar to how mutual fund managers invest in traditional finance, Nord Advisory does it on DeFi, in non-custodial and permission-less ways, giving users the power to control their own digital assets and manage investment portfolios based on their risk appetite.

Nord Finance x Acknoledger — Discussion on Clubhouse
The month of August started out with a wonderful discussion between the CEO of Acknoledger, Yash Dahenkar, and the CEO of Nord Finance, Amarnath Reddy. The discussion took place on Clubhouse, and they discussed in detail the financial applications of Decentralized Finance.
AMA session with Mandy
Mandy from Get Rich With Mandy hosted an AMA Session with Nord Finance. This session took place on the 5th of August, 2021 and they discussed Decentralized Finance and its future. The community was encouraged to ask more questions about Nord Advisory, and a reward pool of $250 Nord Tokens was allotted for 10 lucky participants of the session.
AMA session with CryptoPlayers
This month has been exciting with yet another AMA session with CryptoPlayers. This session took place on the 10th of August, 2021, and Nord Finance CEO, Amarnath Reddy sat down to answer a few questions about Nord Finance and its products. This was another special AMA with Crypto Daku, where the team from Nord Finance sat down to discuss Nord Advisory and other products, and how we are revolutionizing the industry with Decentralized Finance.
Voice of Crypto Festival
On the 15th of August, 2021, Yash Dahenkar from Acknoledger hosted the Voice of Crypto Festival, where the CEO of Nord Finance, Amarnath Reddy, and Founder of Mesh Finance & Mudrex, Rohit Goyal came together to discuss the topic “Everything about DeFi”. We are excited that we got an opportunity to express our thoughts on the topic as such exposure helps make Decentralized Finance much familiar in today’s day and age.
